The Wall Street Journal wrote this article about "Felix Kjellberg", posting a video along with it showing clips of the supposedly "anti-Semitic posts" PewDiePie had made. The title of the article is "Disney Severs Ties With YouTube Star PewDiePie After Anti-Semitic Posts" with the sub-heading being "Move came after the Journal asked about videos in which he included anti-Semitic jokes or Nazi imagery". Or, in other words, WE ARE FUCKING SNITCHES AND DRAMA WHORES WHO ARE STICKING OUR NOSES IN SHIT WE SHOULDN'T BE STICKING IT IN AND WE WENT TO COLLEGE FOR MORE THAN FOUR YEARS TO LEARN HOW TO TAKE SHIT OUT OF CONTEXT AND CALL IT "NEWS".

To sum it all up: the media has realized how much controversy, views, and thus, money PewDiePie articles bring in and they started to put everything he did under a microscope. Some journalists thought that watching some of his videos would be a good start, saw a "pattern", and then just drew their own conclusions for that sweet, sweet raise.

These people can't even be called journalists anymore. They are literally pulling stories out of thin air. A problem that I see happening a lot on most news websites is that the people from the "old media" have no idea how to work around this thing called the internet. That is why they are working with "clickbait" articles to lure you in, and then they hope you click a bit more on other articles on their website -- instead of actually reporting the news. They have the entire "adapt or die" mentality which is so cancerous when it comes to the news; which should be fact-based, not bias beyond recognition.


As a response, PewDiePie made the above video and it is honestly glorious to watch. He is being ridiculed internationally; they have accused him of being a nazi, fascist, and an anti-semite and yet he is here, just calmly telling his story, making sure to let people know how this entire fiasco reeks of bullshit. You don't have to be a PewDiePie fan to respect this.

PewDiePie is honestly just proving (yet again) that fake news is alive and well in our society; making it seem like people are something that they are not, by taking shit out of context (and its ridiculous). With this, the media is digging its own grave. During the presidential elections the media was so out of touch with reality and their audience that they didn't realize a revolution was taking place. And now the media seems mad, mainly mad at itself. But like any narcissistic fueled collective they don't deal with their negative emotions like a responsible adult, no... they are releasing all this anger onto something else and in this case it seems they release all their anger towards anything and everything that has to do with, or reminds them of, Donald Trump. Of course, this is not what a journalist is supposed to do. It is the duty of a news reporter or news outlet to give us objective news, and give us facts. But all you see nowadays is framing and favoring leftists and their politicians.

Did i btw mention that three... THREE journalists worked on this article? They viewed some of his newer videos and realized there was a lot of "anti-Semitic" and "nazi" content in it and then (apparently) watched a ton of his other videos to find more "proof" to support their idiotic conspiracy theory (cause that is honestly what it is at this point). And the worst is, that they watched his videos and they OBVIOUSLY knew that the clips only worked in PewDiePie's favor when they were placed in context. So what do they do? They take them out of that context, so they are "standalone" videos and all of a sudden BAM PewDiePie hates jews. Put them back in context and BAM it is actually funny and satirical. THREE journalists worked on this and not one of them went out of their way to think "ok but this is actually kind of slander isn't it?"

Conclusion

The world seems to be divided between apathetic assholes and hypersensitive people who, by default, don't trust each other and take every opportunity to snatch away the light in each others eyes. Anyone and everything in between dies a quiet death.
